Animals and pets

 

Hi all again, in this new post I have to talk about animals. Since I was a child I remember had pets, when I was maybe 5 years old my uncle gave me a dog and then the same uncle gave me a tortoise.

So I consider myself an animal lover, my first dog past away in 2011, and then one of my cousin found a puppy near hers neighbourhood so she decided to gave us the puppy, this dog is my pet in the present. The tortoise that my uncle gave me when I was a child still live now, I really don't know what age have, because I never go to the veterinarian with she.

I’m a dog lover because I think a dog is very easy to play with, for kids is a great present, dogs are very friendly with other dogs and with people, also they are loyal and smarts.

My dog have 2 years old, he is very frisky and friendly with people, also he can understand like 10 words, he understand orders, since we have in the house he makes some damage in the garden, but now he doesn’t do too many damages.

So I have two pets, one is my dog and the other is my tortoise, on the contrary my tortoise is pacify and walks very slowly, and she hibernate in winter, is a very easy pet to have, she doesn’t make troubles and damages like my dog does sometimes.

Summary from a career-related article

Hi all again, in this new post I have to make a summary of a news connected with my area of studies, so I’m going to talk about a news from the section of culture. The news is “Albrecht Durer’s rare work goes on display in London”.

The news is about the artist Durer who is famous for his drawings. Now in London a new exhibition of his masterpieces is arrive, the exhibition show the process in which creates new ways to make their prints and drawings.

The curator of the exhibition is Dr. Stephanie Buck, she said from the art of Durer: “It is always, for him, about a combination of invention and the past”. So you can understand more easily his masterpieces like the portrait of his wife Agnes, where he uses a combination for his imaginary and his real life.

The time when Durer was living was an age where the technology change, so he can reproduced and distributed his own drawings and prints.

Durer was a very smart artist for his age, because he has two agents to sell his prints, he also created a brand.

The exhibition “The Young Durer” is at the Courtauld Gallery in London from 17 October to 12 January.

Japanese animation

Hi all, this blog is about Japanese animation. So the questions are: you know what is anime? Yes I know. 

On television there are many Japanese animated series, these are of many types, some are made for children and others are made for young people.

When I was a child, I saw Sailor Moon is a Japanese animation, one of my favorite animes was Conan, this kid was a detective and even now I remember the theme of that serie.

Well, I have some friends who love Japanese culture because they began to see anime as children, and then even now they see on TV Japanese animation.

Isn't my case, because now I don’t watch Japanese animation at all. But sometimes I sing the songs of those series that I saw in my childhood, and I search in youtube some series and the themes.

In Chile the people who love the anime are named "otakus", some of they are so fanatic that they dress up as their favorite characters. In the center of Santiago, exist a place call "Euro centro", in this place you can see people dress up like Japanese animation.

A country I would like to visit

Hi all again, today in this new post I have to talk about a country I would like to visit.

I have a lot of countries that I will like to visit, but since a long time I feel attracted to one country in special, that is Brazil.

When I was a child I saw a lot of brazilians t.v series , and the places that they show are very fantastic, also I believe the people in Brazil is very nice and fun.

I like the culture, the music, the cities, the food, so I hope one day I can go. Another thing I feel  attracted to this country is the names of the cities, because I think the names are very beautiful, this is probably because I like the language. So I would like to visit cities like, Río, Recife, Manaus, Curitiva, etc.

I would love to go to the carnaval in Río de Janeiro in february, the music and the people are very happy, they know how celebrate.
